Overall it's a sad week. I learned on Monday that Kate's Uncle Donald is not going to be with us much longer. He is such an amazing man! So full of life and hope and love and strength. I miss him already.
Cancer is a horrible thing! It's pure evil. It snuffs out FAR too many lives. Always people that deserved better than that. And Uncle Donald definitely deserved better than this.
Through all the difficulty this horrible disease caused him he was still positive and hopeful. Such an inspiration to me, someone who is perfectly healthy and yet fails on many occasions to see anything good in life. This man saw it all. He saw the goodness in every person and every situation. We need more of him here. We need him here longer.
Right now I really don't understand life.
